Pancho Villa Taqueria has been one of my go-to spots since 2004, and for good reason. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a welcoming staff that consistently delivers excellent service. Their friendliness really makes a difference, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back. And of course, the food is top-notch. Whether you're craving a perfectly crafted burrito, flavorful tacos, or fresh salsas, Pancho Villa never disappoints. Over the years, it's become a staple for me, offering consistently great food and a staff that feels like family.

We came here for a quick lunch. This restaurant has always been so busy. Now, we finally paid a visit. They have large food selection and an extensive menu for both food and drinks. Service was quick. At first, I thought it was a self serve restaurant. You order and get the food at the counter. However, they actually brought the food to our table. The food was tasty. We only ordered 2 shrimp tacos and 1 plain rice with chicken. Chicken was salted enough to go well with the rice, but the rice was good on its own even if being eaten alone.

Always satisfying. This time I got two tacos especiales - carne asada and carnitas. Filling for just $7. Always a stream of people so you know that the meat and everything turns over fast. Nothing is sitting there. Fast, easy, and satisfying.

I grew up eating at this Taqueria from the San Francisco location to San Mateo. Burritos and Tacos are so delicious and the portions are generous.

I just love this place. The servers making the food are great. The prices are a little pricey, but that's to be expected. Good atmosphere. It does get busy in the afternoon, but it is worth the wait. I will definitely go back with my family.

One of my favorite burritos. I usually settle for El Faro but when I'm in San Mateo, this is it. Ordered a Carne Asada super burrito. Checked in after and missed the $2 off coupon for a super burrito. Next time. Tasted better than El Faro but I still got you since you're much closer to home.

Haven't been there for a while. Glad I went back . The food tasted fresh as usual . The ambiance is great. I love the tall ceiling and the historic part of it . I gave it 4 stars for this visit because it took them forever ver 15 mins to make my fresh orange juice . I would go back again though whenever I am in mood for Mexican food. My visitors also enjoyed watching the workers making food behind the glass counter
